Tragedy At NIU

I am a Alumni 07′ of Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Ill. The news of the shooting tragedy has brought me much grief. I must admit that I am in great shock regarding this tragedy and at a lost for words. When I was a student at NIU, I could have never imagined an event like this taking place. NIU is like so many other colleges, filled with the hustle and bustle of students going and coming. The town of DeKalb is very small and quaint, it is definitely centered around the college. NIU is the type of school that one would never expect things like this to happen, but I guess you can never assume these things.

So far , I’ve gotten in contact with most of my friends there, who are all by the grace of God safe and unharmed.

I still cant believe this has happened, it is all so surreal . But I will continue to pray for my fellow Huskies and I ask that you do the same.
